Practice for turkey day

Thinking I’ll make a pie this year, or more specifically make the crusts for them. We usually just buy them.
First pie crust ever, think it’s good.
Forgot to dock/prick it, so a little puffy on the bottom.

Anyone else trying something new this year?

A friend of mine gave this recipe to my daughter years ago, and she has been making pie crust ever since. She does really well making them.

About the same, but with a little sugar to help it brown, no idea if it’s needed.
