Last week I was told two of my sister-in-laws, a brother-in-law and a niece had tested positive for Covid 19 after attending a christening. Even with the high rate of Covid infections in Scotland they felt because they had been vaccinated it would be okay to be around a small group of people. Well within a day or two of getting the positive test results Claire ended up in the ICU on a ventilator, Darryl was hospitalized, Margaret was sick at home and Louise was asymptomatic. This morning Claire, who was vaccinated passed away and Darryl who is also vaccinated has started to develop breathing issues, the prognosis for him is still guarded. My daughters are taking it hard because in the 3 years they've lost their mother to cancer, brother and brother-in-law in a DUI accident and now and aunt to Covid. We are praying that Darryl pulls throw and that losing his wife Claire doesn't destroy him. I know we are supposed to trust God and HIS plan, to realize there is a reason for what HE does and sometimes we are not told or able to understand why. But I need to say this shit sucks.

Prayers for all of those in your family touched by this terrible tragedy

Prayers for God's refuge and strength for your family.

I'm saddened to hear this.

Sorry for your loss and the tragedies in you family. Prayers for peace, comfort, and healing for you and family during this difficult time.

Im sorry to hear about your loss, your family's grieving.
I hope this Darryl gentleman will pull through and be that rock for his kids that they need

It's wild how radically different this disease/infection/whatever can affect people.
Some get it and feel 'meh' for a day or two, many will feel bad for a few days. Then there are the very unfortunate cases like youve presented here.
Im sorry to read this thread about your family, keep believing in HIM, keep being there for your family.

Praying for them and you.

Oh my. That’s a lot to handle for you and your daughters. Nobody deserves those losses and that many. Best wishes for Darryl going forward.
