My mother in law had a seizure this morning, quit breathing, and coded, CPR brought her back, then they had to shock her to get her heart rhythm back to normal.

She’s able to talk and breathe on her own now, but is very confused, asking the same questions over and over.

Seen her today, so they’ve pretty much ruled out VFIB. What’s it’s looking like is a seizure caused her to go into cardiac arrest, code, then they was able to revive her. She’s still very confused, and keeps asking the same questions.

Well, we are back to VFIB as the main reason. If this is the case, she’s going to have brain damage from how she’s acting.

Heart Cath came back clean, so now it’s back to seizure that caused it all.

So she got out yesterday, which is great, her condition only had a ~20% survival rate.

we was thinking a seizure causing heart failure, but now they think it was vfib.
