Precision Rifle Picture Thread !!!!!

I just want the stock and glass. Is that too much to ask for?

Sold the stock not to long ago. @Bunsen may part with it for the right price. Lol

The glass got sold off too. Don't really miss it, although it was nice.

Sorry, but I bought that for a buddy's build. He has no intentions of parting with it. He built a super nice .223Rem Trainer and put it in that stock. It shoots awesome and looks badass!!

Cracken I’m looking at the same rifle in .338 lapua let me know how u like it all reviews are really good.
I love the rifle, everything is great.... but I do have one beef.

The trigger! When its set at 6oz, it doesnt work consistently, or reliably. You have to baby the bolt when closing it, and the pressure from the blade moving, will set it off. It doesnt fire, because the blade catches the sear.. but why make it go that low if it doesnt work?? Ive found 12-14oz works the best. Ill probably change it out sometime, but its fine for now. Im also having the barrel threaded and a brake installed. I havent shot any handloads yet, but it shoots the factory American Gunner ammo very well. For the money, I dont think you can beat this.

Edit:

The only thing I would do dif. if I could go back, I found someone selling the savage 12 actions on the 65 CM forum, for $265 shipped. I would have bought it, a boyds stock, a shilen 26" bull barrel and a trigger... Would have cost me about 150-200$$$ more, but would have been worth it, in my opinion... But for a factory rifle, this thing is pretty bad@ss

I thought my rpr was light at 1.5lbs. I ordered a timmney Calvin elite for my .308 build since the trigger tech is 8 weeks back order. Glad I did after pulling the trigger very sweet set at a pound.

I had my smith make it, I was going to get it cerakoted, but Ill upgrade to a shilen or citerion barrel at some point in the near future, and itll be stainless, so she will match then.
10/4 I’m heading to pigeon Forge tomorrow. I will probably come home with a .338 lapua Savage after going to Bud’s.

My smith is building a 338 lapua. I got some bullets for him yesterday. Freaking hornady brass was $45 for 20 pieces! but we've got a 1.5+ mile shot we can get off at a place we go, so he's wanting to build something to make that shot with

View attachment 49180 shot my wife's 6 creed rpr today making sure everything was on par for the guardian match at frontline. 6 shot .5 group with a sd of 8 with an avg of 2977 fps using hornady match ammo. She won the ladies class last match at frontline. I think I'm just going to retire and help her shoot lol
That's a good group with factory ammo! I wish Frontline was closer to me, I'm 2hr20min. Away

Same here but I joined and I’m qualifying next Saturday to shoot out to 1000 yards cake walk.

You might want to come up and qualify this Saturday. The 1000 is closed next Saturday and Sunday for the Guardian match.

Well that sucks cause I messaged Paul 3 weeks ago and he said he was good to go.

The 500 and the 1000 will both be closed for the match on that Saturday and Sunday. The range will not be open (except to members only - no guests or visitors) this Sunday due to Easter, so no staff will be available to qualify you on this Sunday. However, if you can come up on this Saturday, there should be several staff members available to qualify you.

Looks like I’m shooting 500. I’m down to shoot in guardian match pm me details please.

This one is full, but the details can be found here:

http://www.guardianlongrange.com/

You can always come up and watch the match that weekend (lots of very cool equipment on display), but it looks like you'd have a long ride just to spectate or shoot on the 100 yard range. I suspect the only ranges that will be open during the match will be the 100 yard rifle, and he may have pistol stands on the old 300 (soon to be rimfire only) range.
