I've always wanted to go, someday.

Flight coming home was cancelled due to the weather , we got a rental car. Gonna be a long night . Will be a day or so before I get the pics posted.

We got in about 2;30am Sunday, took me a day or so to recover. Got the pics pretty much sorted.

Here we go-

excited about this!

Hopefully you met Janet Thornley, a female nitro harley rider. Nice lady!

Also, get any pics of the widebody mustang? Guy's name is Kyle, I think, and has built an AMAZING mustang which is now a shooting brake!

I like mechanical things so there's lots of pics of engines and hardware. We'll start with some of those.

We'll get back to more engines later, those those that are in the car.

Let's go to some cars.

Barry Wright from Cowpens, SC.

Pat & Lizzie Musi were in the Edelbrock booth signing autographs. Pat's engine business moved to Mooresville about 5 years ago.

Don't know who's car this is but it was in the Tiger Quickchange rear booth. Gerald Williams owns Tiger as well as Midstate Machine which does the machining for Tiger. Gerald also used to do the trigger guards and magazine floor plate for the FN / Winchester model 70 ( he may still, just not sure ). He also owns a killer 1965 Mustang ( pics in another thread ). Gerald is a major gearhead.

Aaron Brown from Denver, NC ( The Garage Shop ) built this a few years ago to take to SEMA. Traveled to Las Vegas almost totally off road and put it in the booth dirty. Said he tired of seeing 4WD vehicles on display that we all knew would never get off road.

One of several driving simulators. This was about the shortest line I saw in 3 days for this particular one.

There's a dedicated section of the show for machinery of all types ( Machinery Row ).
