Primary Arms Mini Reflex

Awesome, I’m am interested in trying one out, they look well built and I’ve always had good experiences with PA optics. Odd that they went with the Doctor footprint though..

After tying this I had a dejavu feeling so I went and did some searching and I remembered this thread where I made almost the same comment 6 months ago..

I had the same thought on the footprint. Assuming Holosun makes it, I wonder if they wanted to do Doctor footprint to not compete with their own branded RMR footprint optics.

I agree with all. I like their 2.5X prisms for the money. Especially if they’re on sale.

Some members were finding more and more mounts/plates for the Riton in the HOT deals section. It has a Shield footprint. Surely this footprint will have some good options in the future if they aren’t already available.

That’s definitely a good possibility.

I was looking at them earlier today to mount on my new to me scorpion. Pulled in the driveway this afternoon after driving 3 hours with my tool trailer behind me and noticed gear oil all over my trailer safety chains, tailgate, and front of the trailer. Looked under the truck and it looks like rear pinion seal is leaking so the red dot is on hold until I get the truck fixed. Hopefully I’ll have $200 left after the truck repair bill to get one ordered.

More options are never a bad thing

Curious how it works also

Hopefully it's good, but with the price I have no reason to part from Holosun. 407c-x2 with bonus bucks is about $120 right now.

I still don't have complete faith in these budget optics. I did some drop tests of the PA MD-20 on a carbine and I definitely had some zero shift.

I'll give getting an ACRO P-2 if they ever come back in stock. Still waiting for the HS EPS Carry for my 365xl.

Well, I have one that should be delivered this week. So, I’ll let y’all know what I think when I get it in.

Please do! I’m kind of regretting not picking up one of those Blems.

My thoughts exactly.
Also interesting that PSA has been flooding the market with doctor cut Daggers.

I couldn’t pass up on the blem for $139
I saw that! I considered buying it for my Henry .22 but I have a spare PA MD-20 I'll stick with. What are you going to put it on?

I'm kinda upset at myself for passing up on the 15% bonus bucks they did on all items right after the warehouse sale. I used to be able to stack the SAVE12 with the MIL discount but that doesn't work anymore. I got some steals there for a while.

I’m probably going to put it on my Canik Rival, or FN 502.

I'm thinking they're sitting on a surplus of docter cut guns since the optics are so far behind in terms of availability. Other than price on something like the blems, there's virtually no reason to choose docter cut over RMR or RMSC unless you have a boner for Vortex, which many carry guys don't due to lack of shake awake/auto on. They'd probably triple Venom sales if they added that feature.

Got it in yesterday and installed in on my Canik rival. Haven’t put any rounds through it yet but first impressions are pretty good. Might go out to the desert and get some trigger time on it tomorrow.

It feels very well put together and the finish looks well done and durable. Dot is pretty crisp and tracks well; no refresh rate issues. The brightness adjustment buttons are easy to use and tactical and the windage/elevation adjustments are tactile and audible as well. I don’t think you could quite use a 9mm shell casing to adjust (perhaps a .22) but a small flat head screw driver will work. Included with the optic is a low picatiny mount, nice rubber optic cover, manual and all the Allen wrenches you need.

Overall I am pretty happy with this thing so far. Compared to another budget optic I have, which I got both on sale but MSRP they are pretty close (Riton) this thing is light years better than that piece of garbage.
