So I have a really good friend and he helped me when I really needed it so I have started to work on his bronco for him as repayment. It started out as what was going to be a one wire alternator swap and went on from there. I found that the brakes were shot, the front rotor was grooved, the rear drums and shoes were shot, and all of the lines were leaking.
I got it up on stands, and started replacing the brakes. The front locking hub fell apart in my hand when I started to take off the rotor. It was missing a snap ring, don't know where it went. So I called a buddy and was able to get the missing ring off of one of his junk trucks.
I have everything cleaned up on the driver side and I rebuilt the hub. This thing will be getting all new cables, drums, shoes, rotors, pads, bearings, master cylinder, lines, etc.....

And he was driving this around???
Occasionally, it mostly sat due to the charging issue. I drove it to my house3-4 miles from his, and that is why I have named this project "the death trap".

Looks like he never stopped.

What body style Bronco??

Its had a few owners lol

And yes its a 80's model full size bronco

I had an 83 with a mild built cop motor call the thunder buggy. Also an 89 w 302 4spd. Cool rides if they aren't clapped out.
