Replaced the terrible iron sight/rail combo on the P90 with a Ringsights MC-10-80. Took about 2 weeks to get here from the UK. There's not a lot of info on it and it didn't have a manual so hopefully this will be useful for someone in the future.

Came with the adjustment tool, optic, torx screws, torx key and that's it. It's nicely packaged. It seems the optic height is the same as the stock rail iron sights but since the window is bigger it's way easier to use. The window is small by modern standards but I didn't have any problems with both eyes open aiming. It uses a CR2032 battery but they can't ship that overseas so it's left out. I need to buy one still but I assume it just looks like the etched reticle but red. Uses the same adjustment system as the stock rail where there's a locking screw and a larger screw that physically moves the whole sight. I'll see if I can get some pics next to other sights like the 509t and romeo5 later as well as a height over bore and some zero info.

Man that's worlds better! The factory sight/rail isn't usable. I went with an ultra low mount and a dot. What's the can? What cocking knobs you got there?

and here i feel like a sucker for digging up my aimpoint 1000 just to stay "period correct". of course the rail top model was 10 years into production... and by that point different sights were available..
i like those sights though.

Looks like a YHM Turbo K using the QD mount. I run the same can, but prefer the DT mount for the PS90.

Can is a YHM Turbo K w/ a Kurtz mount. Charging handle is a K&M Aerospace folding handle (link). It's way easier to rack than the standard handles and only sticks out 1/4" more when folded than the stock ones. Would recommend.

I like it. If you don't mind posting it, what did it cost?

Ā£395 shipped. With the current conversion rate it was $488 + foreign transaction fee of $15. Kinda pricey but the goal was to be closer to the original design and it's a nice optic still.

Nice upgrade, Iā€™ve always like the ringsights. Any pics with the reticule illuminated? Does the entire thing illuminate or just the ā€œTā€?

The original white ring model is really nice as well with a remt3 module added. Many people dumped them in favor of aimpoints and other dots. I really like the remt3 modified sights.

Finally got around to testing out the battery. Unfortunately the battery cap was over torqued from the factory so they're going to replace the unit. Gotta ship it back to the UK though. Downsides of exotic stuff I guess.

It's got the whole reticle illuminated including the little dot in the center. Gets pretty bright too but I haven't had a chance to check it in the sunlight yet. Here's a pic:

Update, shipped out 3-mar and got a new one back 13-mar. New one works great! Battery cover was easy to remove and attach as expected. Now it just needs to be zeroed.
