PSA- NOAA Survey in your mailbox

I received a 8.5x11 white envelope from NOAA in the mail yesterday.
It had "NOAA c/o Gallop" as return address. I don't do surveys so I planned to throw it away.
My wife opened it and found $2 CASH!

If you get the envelope, open it before throwing it away.

This is a perfect example of how OUR government values OUR hard earned money.... How many of my dollars will go straight to the landfill or burn barrel?

We got one last year with two one dollar bills, didn't send it back so in a month they sent us another one with 2.00s in it
We didn't send that one back either.
They must have gotten the message ,we haven't received another

I already publish my local weather data to the web, so, let's see if they pay me $2 for information I already provide for free.

Government agencies operate with full authority to spend money they forcibly confiscate from you, with no meaningful oversight.
