PSA Spiker

Why would you do this to me Waylon? Somebody please tell me this thing sucks and isn't worth the money.

It'll probably suck and isn't worth the money. I can't think of a single first-gen AK variant PSA has released that hasn't had a variety of issues.

And Redditards will complain that it doesn't have a side optic rail

Also, for the life of me I can't figure out why PSA doesn't include a cleaning rod. They will reverse engineer a Chinese fixed folding bayonet for cripe's sake, but still no cleaning rod...

Helping me with every message.

Those pictures are taken in front of the factory in West Columbia SC @ 2121 Old Dunbar Rd. I recognize the silo blowers from when it used to be Southern Plastics. I worked at both plants (PSA & Southern Plastics). I know a lot of people who like/love PSA but..... I know what goes on in there. I wouldn't buy anything produced by PSA EVER. YMMV.

Riveting, spotwelds and finish looks good, hope they sell a lot of them.

I generally don't buy any AK's with U.S. receivers (although I have some), but this thing looks just like the original Norincos, chu wood (looking) and all.

I do love spikers - sets them apart a bit.

At 2020 SHOT, PSA spoke about an RPK and an SVD.......still waiting.

I don't like real spikers, why would I want a fake one?

What I find amusing is PSA's track record with AK's where they make something that looks really great but can't live up to the hype.
It will be a long time before I roll the dice on a PSA AK. It's been my experience they can't even put an AR front sight on straight.
You're right about the front sights for sure lol. That's what happens when you use employees from a temp service who have never held a gun much less built one and you don't even have a QC department.

I don’t even know what a Spiker is. Don’t own an AK of any variant and couldn’t tell you one difference about all the options out there. I was browsing the PSA forum on AR15 and saw it listed. Copied the pictures and posted them here. 😁😁😁

Just a folding spike bayonet attached to the rifle (like SKS's), instead of a more common knife/sheath type bayonet you manually put on the rifle.
