Picked up my 9CT this morning from my ffl. Fit seems to be be very tight, from the takedown pins down to the magwell. Im not a fan of the mlok guard that it comes with, traded it out for a hk wide guard. Everything I had read before I bought said they normally come with KCI mags. Mine showed up with 2 ETS clear mags that suprisingly have very little wobble. They lock up tighter than my german mags!
I still need to find a mount that will work with a red dot and not be obstructed by the front sight hood. The welded rail sits lower than a claw mount so it shouldnt be too hard to find something.
The supplied bungee sling is nice for carrying in pistol form but even adjusted to its smallest, is a little long to shoulder and shoot with. I ordered the folding SB brace that should be here next week instead of going the SBR route on this one.
I ran a few mags through it this morning and function was 100%. 60rds of browning brass cased 124r and 60rds of winchester usa steel case 115gr. This thing really ejects the brass strong so I ordered an 80 degree locking peice to hopefully slow it down enough to run some 147gr subsonics with my suppressor.
Will update when the brace and locking peice arrive. It was a huge toss-up between the PTR and Zenith but everyone has the PTR in stock, has a lifetime warranty and is sear pack ready. So far I'm having a blast with it! It is much more tame and fun than my USC and UMP .45 conversion!
