I had the pleasure of seeing both the IMSA and Trans-Am versions run back then.

Simply awesome. . .
 
Two coolest/scariest car rides of my life were an 80s Lotus Esprit driven by a sketchy friend of my Dad's and an Audi Quattro driven by a co-worker who got in a road rage incident with a crazy dude.
