Does R12/Freon have a shelf life?
A friend told me that he had found some 12 ounce refill cans of R12 in his garage. The kind you used to use in car AC systems prior to R134. He wanted to know if they had a shelf life. He said the wasn't one listed on the can itself, and google wasn't helping.
Told him I had no idea but would ask around.
So I am asking.
