rain gauge question

I assume that rain gauges are designed to correctly record rain when it is coming straight down into the collector funnel. Does anyone have correction factors for when the rain is blowing at an angle to the funnel? How do you account for spin drift?

No adjustment required. While one drop may get blown off target another is getting blown on target.
