It is time once again for the Dixie Gun and Knife Show this weekend in Raleigh. State Fairgrounds in the Jim Graham Building.

This is usually a pretty good show. We will be there. I know at least a few of you are going, too, to pick up guns you have bought from @knifeman32 .

Who else is going?

I plan to be there, most likely Saturday morning. Got to stock up on hazmat items, will be visiting Blue Collar and Cover Six.

I'll probably go. Need to get a scope for my new M&P 15-22.

We want pickles!

I'll be there sometime on Sunday. Will be looking at reloading stuff, mainly.

The last show was about 50% candles, jerky, and jewelry. If this one is too, it may be my last show for a while.

Last show was the C&E, this one is the Dixie. The Dixie shows are larger, and better in my opinion.

Blue Collar Reloading has stopped going to the smaller C&E shows, so I am going to have to double up on my reloading supplies tomorrow.

Ya I’m gonna swing by Probably Saturday, when do they open up? I’m new here so never been to this particular place I’ll google it for now hopefully they have the info up.

Maybe but the last Dixie show was full of candles, jewelery and jerky as well.

Not to mention laser cut signs, gutter guards, hot sauces and various questionable fashion wear.

Damn shame I'm broke as usual.

The last Dixie Show was up against Winston and split the dealers because of it. Both shows suffered that weekend.

cub - keep an eye out for mp5 mags for me. If you spot any, PM me so I could possibly send funds for you to purchase on Sunday (depending on cost, of course)
Please.

How many are you looking for? I think I have a few and one is a German marked mag.

Print this coopun!

Just don't try to sail those, or even give them away at the event. Says that's a no-no right there on the ticket booth.

Is it sad I have a stack of these sitting on my desk from the last show? Am I over-prepared?

Was going this morning with my dad, but now he's busy and won't be available until later today. If he gets done with whatever he's doing, we'll go later today. I need some 55gr bullets to load up.

Derp... I always hand out the few extras I have to those in line around me.

I'm thinking about trying Gate #4 for the first time, so I can show @cubrock my Nazi issued Hi-Power. Any tips?
I always go in #4, closer parking, the cops will ask if you're taking any guns in, then instruct you how to carry them in, and to not bring any ammo.

They have someone at the gate to tell you what you need to know. Look forward to seeing it!

PM me with prices when you get home tonight from the show
Good luck today, hope you make lots of contacts.
Are you taking your equipment this time?
I know, at one point, you were talking about doing stuff on site, but didnt drag it along to one of the shows, didnt know if you were yet or not.

Went at 10, left at 1, walked all over. Not a very big crowd and not much selling action that I could tell. Seems like everything was over-priced. Didn't see any good deals - not even on candles, beef jerky, metal signs or knives. I did find a brass punch set I'd been needing and bought that and some more snake shot. And $2.50 for a cup of coffee that's only a buck at McD's.

Lots of attractive kitchen appliances though! :p

Not going to lie, Im working on something else, small, to add to my store that would fall in these lines.
I want to add another thing to my keychains, tees, buttons, and stickers.
BUT, all my stuff IS gun related. May not be guns, but it'll be images of guns, accessories, or shaped like guns etc

Just got back. Gun prices seemed all over the place, but nothing too good. I think all those PSA daily deals on the $169 LCPs has spoiled us, when I see them at shows marked $230-270 it always makes me move on. Not that I buy LCPs all the time, it's just a price I know from looking at those damn emails.

Some guys had 9mm and 556 at close to (delivered) online pricing, that's pretty rare. Had I not just spent my ammo budget on primers and bullets I would have picked up some of the random calibers I don't shoot enough to make case sized buys on.

I did see an actual Keltec SU-16B; haven't ever seen one in person. I went so far as to text the wife to see if I should buy it.... she must have used some strange voodoo on me since I didn't end up getting it but when I was headed home she asked if I got it.... which makes me think I had a choice somehow???

Dammit, I forgot to get the jerky!

Fun show! Met Cubrock and BudE there and picked up a neat old 22 (see the rimfire section) in addition to some other goodies!
