Raleigh Gun Show, May 4-5

I should have walked back there as soon as I came in the door at about 2 on Saturday. I did talk with Ray and Patty for a little bit, he's an interesting fellow.
Sorry I missed you.

I did notice these two patches on the floor about two rows over. If someone dropped them and wants them back, let me know.
Were they give aways? Pretty cool.

Picked up 200 stripper clips.

I was there yesterday and stopped by the CFF table to say hi to @Button Pusher. I saw him just before he snuck off to get pizza. I picked up some Winchester 231 and primers for my step-son and a Don't Tread On Me sticker for my truck. My friend picked up an Aero Precision upper and lower for an upcoming build. The BBQ sammich I had for lunch was yummy.

Enjoyed meeting Button Pusher as well. So some decent pricing on Magpul components. Son bought a Aero Precision AR. Got the 15" freefloating rail and a gasblock for a good price. Overall, not a bad Sunday.

I am extremely sorry to hear about Mack having cancer. :( They're good folks and have been a major source for handloaders for years.

I do want to say Blue Collar are good folks. I try to buy at least a little bit from them at every show. They're where I got my Vihtavuori powder and 308 hpbts at, and I feel like I got a decent deal from them. They also let me use their Hornady and Vihtavuori load data books to decide which Viht powder to get, so major props to them for (as always) great customer service. I would say to support their business if you can.
I noticed the guy (Mack) wasn't there. I did not know why, so sorry to hear about that. The first powder I ever bought for reloading I bought from him.

I met up with @Bullseye Baldee to have breakfast before we headed to the show. I had never been to Watkins Grill before, I had an awesome breakfast. Will have to go back sometime.

I did not really need anything, but I picked up a pound of powder and a box of primers from BCR. They are great people and have really helped me out when some powders were hard to find.

I wandered around looking, saw a few guns that interested me, but ended up not buying a gun. I dropped a donation in the GRNC jar (something I try to do at every show). And I always stop by the table on left wall towards the front, the guy that has a virtual museum of WWII guns. He did not have as much this time, but had some Japanese items that I had not seen before. We had a nice conversation.

And I left this time without buying any jerky!
