The C&E Capital City Gun Show is this weekend in Raleigh, NC at the NC State Fairgrounds. This is the smaller of the two shows in Raleigh, but it often has a few different vendors than the Dixie show. I’ve made some pretty neat finds at this show.

Along with it should be the big Fourth of July Flea Market, also at the fairgrounds. I’ve found some pretty cool stuff at the flea market, too.

We will be there. Who else is going?

Have to work saturday morning but mat go afternoon before I pick the kids up from the sitter.:D

Hi, sorry but not this show. Next table will be the Dixie show in November.

I always say this is the "crappy" show and we shouldn't go, and then everyone points out how I got the best deal ever on something I was looking for at this show.... so then I have to go and complain I can't find another unicorn.

So basically I'll be there Saturday morning.

We're learning though, the 3 other guys I usually go to shows with are going to hang back and wait for me to see if it's any good before spending their cash to get in.

Thunderstorms and 85°-90° both Saturday and Sunday equals hot and humid as hell ... Cubrock said it’s in the smaller building ... if people turn out because outdoor stuff sucks due heat and humidity they better have the A/C going.

Expo has great HVAC.:)

AC is going already. In past years, they didn’t turn it on for us during setup. Made for a miserable day on Friday. Today was tolerable.

And, to confirm, it is in the new, smaller building.

It is full of tables, but not everyone sets up on Friday. So, it is impossible to say at this point if there are cancellations/large numbers of unsold tables.

I'm here wearing my Official CFF name tag from DesignMine graphics walking around, no CFF table this time.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow (Sunday) with my son. Let me know how it is and worth the $9 admit. Also up to meeting so.e of y'all. We'll be there prolly 10-12ish.

If anyone is selling a ruger american ranch in 300bo, I might be going home with one. I hope to get some reloading supplies as the Dixie show didn't really have what I wanted last time.

I was going to go to see what the prices of a Sig P365 are. I don't need one, and can certainly wait, but liked the one I looked at previously. I decided to wait for the Dixie show. I was going to go to the Greenville show last weekend but saw a friend in Academy who had just went. He said the show was a disappointment and the prices on the Sig were the same price as Academy's ($499) or a little higher.

Dealer at the back wall with lots of powder and reloading supplies. Prices a bit high on handguns but everything is negotiable right?
One dealer has $20 off the white price tags on guns. Metal target vendor with some nice quality steel.
Drawing for $50 gift card good at the C&E show, just register at the table when you enter the show.
Was there from 9-11, plenty of room to walk and also talked with NCEngravers.

Had planned to go this morning (Sat) but painted my deck instead. Will probably go this afternoon.

I went this morning and there is a dealer there with the Sig 365 going for $450 new. I think it was Atlantic Firearms(?) and they had 4 on the table. His table is on the first row that is in front of the entrance about 1/2 way down.

Seems to me I saw one marked $479 at a recent show.

Came home with everything I went with minus $9. What’s with the dudes shining jewelry?

Saw some 2nd Gen Smith’s. I have no interest in them so.......

I didn’t see them, maybe gone by 11am? Good thing, I may have picked up another of the best sub 9 out there. :)

I’ll be setup at this show.

I spoke to you today. You have some really nice looking stuff there.

Metal target vendor with some nice quality steel.

That may have been Ground Zero Ballistics from Abingdon, Virginia. They did have some nice steel targets. They were also at the last Dixie Gun and Knife classic.

The main thing I was looking for was a stainless Ruger Security Six with a 159 or lower serial number to replace the one that I stupidly sold many years ago. I didn't see a 6" version but I did see a stainless 2.5" version with a 155 serial number for $399. I passed because it was very well scuffed up. I probably should have bought it anyway and just had a bead blasted.o_O

cubrock had a bunch of stuff but nothing I needed. A 624, 625, some HP’s, a 915, bunch of Russian and Czech revolvers, etc.
He looked busy.

You had no less than 5 chances to talk to one of them, they were everywhere.
Gun Show....

yes there must be some incentives from SiG on the 365's... 450 is lowest i have seen for New... Just saw a used posted today for 409.95 (southern pines)

I did not get there until after 1:30. I saw one vendor with 2 of the Sig 365 for $450. I saw a few Sub 2ks for $379. I wasn’t really looking for anything in particular, Reloading supplies seemed a little high, but good inventory. Maybe if I had haggled on prices I could have gotten them down a little. I walked out without buying anything, and I’m ok with that. I did drop a 20 in the GRNC jar. ;)

A couple of the new King Cobra’s were in attendance, a 3” and a 2”, in the $800+ range. The 3” felt nice in my hand but they need to soften the “blocky” edges on the top strap, imo.
