Hey ya'll,
Due to the cancellation of the Long Range Rifle class on Sat Nov 24 ( due to the USMC interfering with my son's freetime!) I have decided to have an open range day! I don't have a real plan, we will make it up as we go along. If anyone has a suggestion, I am open.
Safety brief will be at 0900, and 1200.
All CCF members are invited to come check out the facility, and bring anything you want to shoot. We will set up a couple of pistol and rifle courses to play with. Feel free to bring targets ( and a shot timer ) if you want to set up anything in particular.
We are out in the sticks, so you need to come self sufficient, and we pee in the weeds right now. We will fire up a grill in the evening also, and set around a fire. ( ya gotta have a fire to tell lies around!). The long range will be open also if you want to shoot a long gun.
If we get a crowd, we will delegate a couple of RSO's
You are welcome to bring adult beverages, which will remain in the vehicle until the range goes cold, and your keys will go in the box till morning. Speaking of cold, there is plenty of room to camp if you don't want to drive back at night. So if you plan to drink, plan to camp. We are talking about responsible drinking, you get crazy and you will end up in the pond!
You are welcome to camp if you don't drink also of course.
You are also welcome to show up late Fri and camp.
