Took the 63 and 60 to the range for the first time today. I was a little disappointed with the 63 but could not believe how the 60 shot. (I had a 60 about 20 years ago. Replaced it with a 640 and 642)

I had a hard time seeing the red insert on the 63. Everything was low @ 15 yards. Again, I am thinking it has something to do about not seeing the insert. Also, I was shooting some very old 22 rounds that were very dirty.

The 60 I was shooting some very old Federal wad-cutters. Almost zero recoil and was dead on at 15 yards. I can not believe how smooth the trigger was. I might see about getting a trigger job on the 63 with smooth trigger face.

Targets were left at the range. I am getting back into the older S&W. Well some older and newer ones but DO NOT tell my wife. Years ago I sold or traded all my blue Smiths for stainless steel models. Now the blue ones are harder to find.
