Only 250 made and maybe only a few dozen in the states. This is number 129. Fires from the open bolt using a 6-round enbloc from the Carcano. You’ll also notice that many of the parts were taken from the Carcano. Got it at auction and yeah I may put a clip through it this weekend just to say I have. It's way too expensive and rare to shoot often haha

Nope pre WWII, These were only made in 1933 and says on the barrel in the photo. Late 20s and early 30s the Italians were experimenting with semi auto rifles, like many other countries. This would later lead to the adoption of the M39

6.5 Carcano. The 7.35 round was not invented and produced until 1938.
