Finally got around to ordering a primer pocket swager as crimped brass is all I can find. RCBS in my single stage - will also try my wet pin tumbler for its first run.

500 cases to decap, tumble, swage, resize, trim, deburr, and finally load up. Good time to keep cool in the basement shop next few weeks !! 🍺

at today’s ammo prices some more tools is an easy decision!!

If your brass comes out dull and greasy feeling then you need more soap. If it comes out pink you need less citric acid.

For the FART I always use about 1/2tsp. For the big tumbler I use about a tablespoon.

I've never used lemishine in my tumbler. I use car washing soap instead and everything comes out clean and shiny and it stays that way over time.
This brass was cleaned in 2019.

I use about a 9mm case full of lemishine, and an ounce or so of wash-n-wax (Armorall is the brand I have used). Hot water to wash, cold to rinse.

Whether or not to use lemishine (and how much to use) depends to some extent on the hardness of the water. My well water is very hard.

Keeping brass in a bag help keeps it shiny longer. I use Mr Rudders recommended car wash stuff and it's da bomb.

Lil' Harbor Freight tumbler probably has 500 hours of run time all at 200% recommended capacity and still working well!
