My daughter is now shooting 9mm. Glock 19C and a suppressed AR-9 which she says “is really easy to shoot”. She’ll be off to college in August. Naturally good shooter using a MKIII for several years, and now with 9mm.

Good dad. I’m in a similar spot, my daughter heads to college in the fall after spending the last 4 years with me shooting and working matches as RSOs. She has an unhealthy admiration of anything AK. She alternates between an Sig P322, S&W model 15 , and a PSA dagger for handguns.
I know I’m going to have a harder time with her going away than my wife will

Congrats, it was a difficult transition for everyone here…2 daughters.

Best of luck to her at school, it can’t hurt to remind her that luck favors the prepared.

Congratulations.

Know what young ladies, like the one posted above, have an exponentially smaller chance of becoming?

Victims.
Then they go off to this place called school, where some POS politician, that isn’t worth the air they consume, has decreed that their tools are limited to things like blowing your rape whistle and peeing your pants because it’s “educational property”.

Congratulations on molding a beautiful young woman into one with values and a strong understanding of her rights as an American.
I taught my two beautiful daughters, in their late 40’s now, to handle a handgun, a rifle and a shotgun. They in turn passed this understanding of the value of the second amendment on to their children.
Your girl will be a touchstone of pride and joy for all of your life. You are a lucky man just as I have been.
Congratulations keep up the good work.
