realistic scope

I have a rossi rs22 nice gun. I would like to put a scope on it, but not pay big bucks. Its a .22 plinker for cripes. Any reasonable suggestions for make model. I have ckecked out Optics planet and amazon etc.

I've used the BSA sweet .22. It does a fair job with the bullet drop compensator.

I’ll second the sweet 22. I’ve been happy with the one I have. Also had a sweet 17 for a while and it was nice also.

I have the Simmons just because it's dirt cheap. It's not my vortex, but it does the job for a fun plinker.

I've got a BSA Sweet 22 on my Savage II, it works just fine.

For a plinker I think a Simmons is the way to go. Good scope for a good price.
