I've been playing with my XS Big Dots and can't understand why they have to be almost all the way to the right in the dovetail to hit center on the target.
My other sights were pretty much centered and only hit about 1/2" left. With the Big Dots centered I was hitting a full 2" left. I finally moved them to where they are now and ran 10 rounds through to test them and now that there about as far right as they can go the rounds are impacting center of the target.
I'm shooting at 7 yards, sitting on the ground and braced over my knee so I have a good, solid hold and I center the dot on the circle. I mean it's not like I don't know how to shoot, it's just that for some reason these sights want to throw shots left for me unless I move em' as far right as I possible can. This is just crazy. Is anyone else having an issue like this with Big Dots?

I had XS big dot sights on a G43 and they hit low. Actually got called out by an instructor who thought I was blaming equipment after repeated low shots. He took the Glock and ran the drill...all shots low. He handed it back and said, "the sights aren't right on this one."

It's my position that XS sights aren't worth the ink they advertise with. Standard plastic Glock sights are better, and those suck pretty bad.

Do you have the express style rear sight, like this one?

Follow the instructions that come with the sights and they don't hit low...center of dot goes on the target until 15-25 yards where you start using 6 o'clock hold (target at 12 o'clock on the big dot)

There is nothing about big dot sights that make them hit left. I have used them on numerous guns and my rear was always centered. This is not to say there isn't something about your eyes that make you hit left with big dots only. I have a similar issue with rmrs on handguns where I shoot them low at speed even though they co witness with the irons and hit dead on when I slow fire...I don't have that issue with any other type handgun sight.

Move the front sight a bit to the left if you can.

+1

The OP doesn't mention which model pistol the sights are installed on, but check to make sure that the front sight is centered up over the bore (or as close as you can get it). Once the front sight is centered up, then adjust the rear.

Do you have the same problem when you're standing? Are you using a support hand? How do other guns shoot? Have someone else that shoots try the gun.
