Got the new SOS-22 in today and have to say, I'm very excited to try this out.

The fit and finish is great. When all the baffles are put together the "tube" has a very smooth look and feel. Some of the baffle edges are a little rough, but overall I'm very happy with this silencer.

To say this is a budget silencer and you get what you pay for I think is a mistake. For the $99+ dollars (transfer price not included) you get a really good deal. Modular silencers are not new, but a completely modular .22 is.

Yes I know Q LLC just released the Erector. But for less then a third of what the Q can will run you, you get a .22LR, .22 Mag, and .17HMR silencer.

The tube size is larger then the industry standard 1" but does not obscure the sights on several of my .22 pistols. Weighting in at 3.2 ounces is a nice change, but comes at the cost of being 100% aluminum. I wet tumble all of my take apart silencers so this may not be a problem for me. If you like to "dip" your silencers or aggressively clean them be careful with this one as the insides are not anodize and are raw aluminum. I will be test firing this silencer with several others in the coming weeks and really look forward see how it stacks up against other.
