I work at UNC Rockingham as a security officer and part of our Covid plan includes the provision of containers for refrigerated storage. We had an arrangement to provide these but the vendor has over committed and can't meet our requirements.

If anyone rents refrigerated containers please send me a PM and I will put you in contact with my boss. We need at least 1 and maybe more depending on price etc.

Ahhhh ... refrigerated “storage”? I can think of one thing I’d not want to rent a refrigerated container to a hospital for.

Yeah, well, that's what they're going to use it for.

Brit, aren't you part of the UNC system? They should have a master plan for all hospitals. I'll check my old sources for refer trailers but my guess is that they are being shunted to large hospitals that are in the largest hot zones.

IMHO, after working on those plans for 23 years you guys don't need to be storing the bodies with the size of your facility. They need to be turned over to the funeral homes and crematoriums as they die off if it gets that bad. Those trailers are a pain in the ass to keep fueled and maintain and become a cesspool of non-related shit that your folks may not have the experience to deal with. If you don't have level high level C, B or preferably A hazmat gear and a damn good decontamination area keep your ass away from that. Every time those trailer doors open a wave of bio-nasties comes out.

I had a SHTF plan to stack them like cord wood in the back parking lot and dump diesel on them.

I've got a bunch of coolers and a chainsaw I would be willing to rent out at a reasonable price.
