This actually looks very good and I've heard people say it is one of the best movies they have seen in years.

Heard about this on 2GNC yesterday, they played a clip of Bradley Cooper singing...I was impressed.
Lady Gaga has an amazing voice, so no surprise there
Not into musicals (I dont know if this is one or not, but figured it was), but maybe one day I'll watch it. Maybe.

I heard the same show. I'm crazy about those guys!

I want to see it. I'm a sucker for a good drama. Reminds me a bit of The Wrestler. You guys see that one? Phenomenal film.

Liberals or not, sometimes Hollywood puts out some gems. I'm not above it.

I’m in it for Chappelle
I could see him being a truly legitimate actor. As cliche as it is, I love seeing comedians make a 180 and do drama films. Even the ultra-lib Jim Carrey, and even Will Ferrel have been in some great dramas or dark comedy. Stranger Than Fiction is one of my favorite movies.

That was a good movie

Another comedian-gone-serious (at least a bit) was that movie where Adam Sandler was a 9/11 survivor or something, it had Don Cheadle in it, who is awesome. Movie sucked though.

But it will be extremely hard to top Robin Williams conversion to drama. Patch Adams, Goodwill Hunting, Insomnia......

Ya, he's done some good ones. Spanglish and Click were both "comedy's" with an element of drama. I also liked Punch-Drunk Love. Sandler is a good actor.

I just learned that A Star is Born is actually a remake of a remake of a remake. The first one was in 1937. I'd like to see the Judy Garland one from 1954.

Really want to see this. One of my earliest memories of a movie was my dad letting me watch the Christopherson with him. It was an adult movie, so my mom wouldn't have approved.
She was hella Jesusy.
