Picked up this classic tonight for a decent price. I've been wanting to get back to basics after several years in the 3 Gun and long range games.

Anybody know what the stamps on the barrel indicate? I'm not finding a SN anywhere, so I'm thinking it's pre-1968.

I've got some parts for one of those if there is anything you need/want to replace, let me know want and I'll see if I have it.

Thanks! I'll likely get it out to the range this weekend to see how it shoots. Cosmetically, it's in terrific shape for a 50+ year old.

Looks like a nice one, @Tim .

I picked up one of these from a co-worker a number of years back. He came in one day and said he had a gun he wanted to sell because it jammed. I asked if it jammed all the time or once in a while. He said "everytime". Told him to bring it and let me look at it. Got it home and tried and sure enuff it jammed. Tried putting just one round straight in the chamber. No go. Looked in the chamber and found half of a casing. Never seen a 22 casing separate before. Took a cotter pin and bent a hook in it and filed it to fit inside the casing and then used a cleaning rod to push it out. Loaded it and took it out back and it worked like a champ. Went back to work with it the next day and gave him his asking price for it. $25. Then I told him what I found and how I fixed it. Asked him if he was sure he wanted to sell it. He said "a deal is a deal". Honestly felt bad about getting it so cheap but I did give him the chance to back out.

I kinda figured @Chdamn was gonna comment on the twig-n-berries roll mark. I’d love to know the story there.
