I really want one of these rifles but I'm scared of the horror stories about Remington quality lately. Does anyone have FIRST HAND experiences with Remington 7/700 rifles the past couple yrs? Let's hear it...... Good or bad.

What's the difference between a Model 7 and 700?
The Model 7 predator was last produced in 2015 so you may have trouble finding one unless your local gun shop has one on the shelf.
Model 7s are short action only, so a more compact rifle. Model 7 receiver length including tang is 7.390 while a Model 700 is 7.855.

About 1.5lbs in the same cartridge. A model 7 is a smaller youth/ladies size gun more or less, and an excellent mountain rifle in any caliber
