I have a large area I’m cleaning up, after removing the top layer of a Shrubbery, I’m uncovering a massive web of roots and vines. I’m guessing a tiller wouldn’t be able to get these up.

many other ideas? Cutting and pulling one at a time is taking its Toll on me

Triclopyr aka Garlon 3/4 or Triclopyr blended with others will kill almost every vine in NC and relative safe. Safer than Glyphosate for sure.....since it's not classified as a carcinogen (yet..).
Garlon 3A is safe enough to spray on fields for grazing animals. It doesn't kill most turf grasses. This is one reason that I use it in food plots and pastures.

I guess it depends on what you mean by “large area.”

An excavator or bulldozer is always handy for these sorts of things, but if you’re clearing 100 acres you’ll be at it for a long while.

I destroyed a new box blade root raking. If you go that route, make sure the roots aren’t too big.
This. You can tear a box blade, and your tractor all to hell biting off more than a little tractor can chew. From breaking welds or teeth on the box blade, to bending the top link for the three point hitch. I’ve done it.

Depending what type of roots they are and your time frame patience is easiest and best method. If small saplings and roots mainly and you can keep it sprayed or mowed off from coming back and just wait a year alot of it will rot away on its on especially if much dirt over much of it. Depending type of vines though some do not seem to rot welll and can be very tough and have massive root structures and like mentioned earlier will tear up lighter equipment if not careful.

Is there enough mass to get one of these chains around and pull it out with your truck?

I've removed a number of running juniper shrubs around my property by pulling them out roots and all with that ^ hooked to the reese hitch of my suburban. Put it in 4 low and it pulled them out almost at idle.

You didn't say how big the area is, but look into renting one of these. If you're talking acres, scale it up to dozer size:

What’s going in the cleared area?
The vines/roots look small. If it’s not for a food garden, let them leaf up fo a month then spray to kill them.

Trying to get it back to part of the yard.

don’t let the looks fool you. Hey are small, but these babies are planted down good.
From the leaves can see, they could be trumpet vine. If so you want them completely dead. Let them leaf out so you can spray them.

If you’re willing to spend a few months on it just wait and then spray as suggested above. Once dead mow or burn it all. Wait for new growth and spray it. Sod or seed in the fall.

get one of those brush grubbers I linked above.....

Kinda what it was designed for. Clump it all together and rip it out.

Stump grinder will chew anything up as long as the teeth are sharp. Should be a local tree company near you that can do the job.
