I’m not a fan of the stock three-dot luminova “glow-in-the-dark” sights on my HK45C. After years of tolerating and thinking that I would eventually get acclimated to them, I have decided to replace them. I am looking at replacing them with either the Meprolight Tru-Dot Night Sights or the Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights. That being said, do any of you have experience with one or both of these sighting systems? If so, which would you recommend and why? Other recommendations are welcome. As always, your help is appreciated. Thanks

I don't have a suggestion...I have a 45C and love the sights. :)

But, will watch the thread.
Maybe there is something better.

I don't have a problem with the stock sights during daytime use but they seem to dim very quickly in the dark.

Trijicon HDs. Best sights out there for defense is pistols IMO.

As they like to say...

THIS.

i have the straight eight's on 3 pistols. Love them in daylight and they look great in the dark. I just acquired a 45c with the Meprolights. They aren't offensive, but I shoot better with the black rear and white front in the daylight. I've dry fired at night and have not shot the straight eights in any meaningful way at night. I like the sight picture though. I'll probably put straigth eight's on the 45c at soem point so ot matches my other guns.
