I bought the A1 version a couple of months ago. It handles pretty much like the M16A1 rifles I used early in my military career.
It's not a perfect reproduction but I would grade it as very good. Some of the small parts are black instead of gray like on the originals and the furniture isn't the best. I already have better furniture which I plan to install, but H&R has since introduced 'premium' furniture which should be on the builds from here out. The premium stuff has gotten some good reviews on ARFCOM.
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't had it to the range yet but will hopefully get there soon.
