Was just thinking the same thing. Might have to go fire up the HF rig after another cup.

If any of y'all want to try out OLIVIA let me know. I've never used the mode in the past but have HRD software to run it.

If I can ever make it to one of your meet ups I'll bring gear to throw up antennas and let y'all play with radios. That is, if anyone was interested of course.

    What radio do you have?

I just installed the latest version of CHIRP and installed it. I also downloaded the *.img files to my computer.
    Since I have a BF-F8H...

    Start CHIRP:
Download and save what I had on my BF-F8HP radio for another time (local stuff).
Open the "Baofeng_BF-F8HP_20200105-Rattlesnake-Rally-Arfcom-V2.img" and uploaded to the radio.

I just can't transmit as no license.

I've not heard anything on the radio in my office. Compared it to a phone app and any chatter on the phone isn't being picked up on the radio. Bummer, guess I'm just too far away.

I tried monitoring it for a while, but it was quiet. Was hoping to catch some chatter on the HF radio, but haven't heard anything there either.

Couple minor updates via digital HF, nothing really worth posting.

My radio just lit up for a second. Too quick to figure out what was said but it seemed to be a dispatcher (female).

Just this is a show of force. I'm happy I can contribute to some small way.

Also watching the live feed on RUPTLY on TV

The Democrats must be having fits that Ruptly is streaming this on YouTube considering Ruptly is a division of the RT News Network (A Russian News Agency). I can hear them now trying to make a link between this rally, the Russian coverage and Trumps tweets, "its collusion I tell ya, its proof of collusion" will be the Dems talking points tonight as they praise the job done by the VA Gov.
