Getting into the wrong car by mistake cost a young woman her life,
if you are abducted or in a car accident, this tool can help you get out alive.

They retail for about $10 each. Made in the USA.

The University has a no firearm policy.
Prohibited behaviors include unauthorized possession of weapons including firearms or weapons of any kind including but not limited to knives, slingshots, metal knuckles, razors, paintball guns, BB guns, and air pistols; even if permitted by law.
Authorization for possession of a firearm on campus or in campus controlled facilities is only available from the university president or designee.

I pulled into my office parking lot the other day, guy waiting outside with tools and luggage cart walks to rear of my Edge and
tried to open the hatch! I get out and said 'I'm not your ride, I work inside'. He said sorry and his ride pulled up next.
He was state employee and had his ID cards like I carry so no problem.

Thanks for posting this. All of our cars have belt cutters/glass breakers in sheaths attached to the driver’s seat belt but that doesn’t help my wife or college-aged daughter when they get in other vehicles, so I just ordered 3 (since I have another daughter that will be driving soon)

I don't think she was on campus? Looks like she was out clubbing.

Had them for years on both mine and my wife's keychains. Just bought a new set, as the belt cutter will eventually wear out and start falling off the keychain.

I carry one of these, which should also work for glass.

She could not get out of the car, child door locks were activated, rear doors only can be opened from outside. Breaking the window her only way out.

If she lived on campus, she could not have a firearm.

Yeap. And getting in the wrong car is not what killed her. It was a pos individual that did.

That is absolutely true. But when a young girl is out drinking at 3 am by herself, bad things can happen. Poor decisions can last a lifetime.

I want a tactical pen for work, as we're not allowed to have a firearm on site.
Be sure to get a one-piece type; the ones with a 2 piece body come apart far too easily and it makes it useless.

They are good for all kinds of places. I've taken mine on planes (a pen in my computer bag is normal), to Disney World (need character autographs)...perfectly normal to have a pen almost anywhere.

In addition to that S&W one, I also have a PowerTac Scholar because I like the flashlight.

I wonder if the TOPS version would "fly?" Seems to be a bit more affordable, but more appearance of a weapon than pen.

I would think so in your carry-on. I like the round style because I travel in a polo shirt that has pen pockets on the sleeve and the round ones fit nicely.

Tim Kennedy (UFC/Special Forces) said that TSA confiscated one of his tactical pens but missed his backup, so it just depends on the person watching the X-ray machine, I guess.

At $30 a piece, the TOPS version seem to be something I could try. Some others are so expensive I would not want to part with.
