Cool, calm, and clear here today so I decided to run a few rounds through my pieced together 10/22. The used Hogue stock and the Tactical Solutions base/rail came from Ebay, the barrel from a forum member, powder coat from a local muffler shop, bipod from my brother, rings from my parts box, mag release and scope from Amazon.
From the front porch of the bunkhouse at my buddy's range, we set up a couple of swinging steel targets across the pond. It's 114 yards measured with a range finder. My rifle is sighted in at 50 yards. It took a couple of rounds to get my elevation figured out but then it was on. Crack...pause...Ding! Repeat 100 times. Cheap Sunday afternoon entertainment.
