I guess we will never know at least from Glen about neck sealing and its effects on accuracy. He was supposed to be experimenting on that subject and was going to publish his results on Midsouth. Just FYI...Federal Gold Metal Match ammo has "tar" neck seals.
 
I read about this on the National Match Competition forum last week. Sad to hear about such an accomplished shooter leaving the range.

I have quite a few of his books on my workbench.

He had written several books on reloading and wrote a column for Midsouth Shooters Supply on reloading. I think he shot service rifle (AR15) in competition from the time that discipline transitioned from M1A to AR15. Wrote a lot about reloading for the AR15 in competition.

Yep, I have his books. Very straight and to the point.
 
He was a big fan of H4895 for competition AR ammo. I tried it and only issue was it doesn't meter worth a darn in a Dillon.
