Does anyone on the site have experience with Riton Optics? My boss mentioned them to me at work since I am in the market for a 1-6 optic. They look good and remind me of Vortex but before pulling the trigger on one I thought I would see what everyone else thought of them. I am looking mainly at the x5 Tactix 1-6 model.

Below is the link to their site

Not sure what your use is for it. Based on what I use LPVO for (multi-gun and rifle/carbine competition, general self defense):

Man, for that price I would buy a Vortex Razor with the JM reticle. It's a no brainer. I can't imagine what this Riton can do better?
I prefer a second focal plane with a simple BDC for a scope like this. I would go first focal plane on a 1-8 or 1-10 maybe.
Also, I like an illuminated center dot only and have found no benefit for a fully illuminated reticle, and found it sucks in lower light for me.
I have found it will be used on 1x most of the time and needs to perform like a red dot when it is.

There are a lot of nice scopes in this price range, Cmore, Trijicon, Vortex, Steiner, etc.

Just my opinions!

I have their RT-S3 1-4x24IR
It’s a budget model, clear glass, bright reticle, solid build. I have no complaints, bought it for a budget PSA build.
based on this one I would be open to trying the higher end models.

the red haze in the picture only shows up on camera. It’s not there when looking through it.

i got their 6-24 x3 conquer.

FFP, clear glass, great tracking, battery on my reticle was dead but i have plenty. haven’t shot it yet but i wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Riton optic again. actually looking to get another for my 6.8 and 358.

veteran owned and offer deep discounts for their optics if you know where to look.

Anyway you can qualify for ExpertVoice? You can get that scope significantly cheaper on there.

Thats how I got mine. Order processe dquick and was shipped out within 48 hours, however USPS took 2 weeks for it to get here

Thanks for the responses. I am on expert voice which is usually a decent deal. Riton gives a similar discount as vortex and leupold which is why I was also looking at them. It looks like they are not a bad way to go. Riton optics are actually in stock on expert voice while vortex has been out of pretty much all of their stuff since about March so that also makes them a little nicer at the moment.

love that site, I get some crazy deals on stuff.

i’m waiting to see if Frankford arsenal comes through or not lol.

between them and Riton, yea...... i’ll agree with you on both points.

good, i will say the crappy part about going through expert voice with leopuld and vortex (most so with vortex) is that their prices on there isn’t much...... cheaper than finding them on sale at other sites. least that’s why i’ve noticed. but i was already looking for a scope around it under 5-600 anyways.

it seems like they're trying to out-vortex vortex
the devil you know...

I have a Riton 1x6 on a 300 blackout...got it on the discount site related to Amazon (can’t remember the name right off) for about next to nothing. It’s good for what it is...weight is fine, glass is good, reticle fine. Not something I would have looked at for full price, but at that significant discount, it was a very good purchase in my opinion.

Woot. I probably posted the deal. I bought 2 of the 1-4X illuminated ones and they weighed 21oz bare....add on an ADM mount and thats nearly 2lbs of weight

You can get a night force for that price.

Ya, I decided to go the leupold or vortex route since they are all comparable in price but I have experience with them.
