I've wanted a stainless S&W .22WMR for a long time but can never find one for a price that seems good. When I ran across this little Rossi .22WMR for a good price it followed me home and I am glad it did. The timing and single action trigger are great. I ran two 50rd boxes of ammo through it and it shoot better than I can hold it offhand. Off a rest a the tennis ball I was shooting at 25 yards was in real danger as hits were 5 out 6 shots. I can give up my quest for a cheapish S&W .22WMR now.

There's not a lot of info on these revolvers online. I have saw some post saying they were built on old S&W tooling but don't know if that is true. I need to find a good thumb break holster for and a couple of speedloaders for it. If any of you have have suggestions for either of those please share them.

Edit: It is an older Interarms import model, not a Taurus inport. Not sure if that matters in search of a holster and speed loaders.

I have the same one. I traded a NAA .22 mag revolver for mine 15 years ago. Been a good little "river" pistol ever since.

I don't know the deep details, but yes, Taurus did indeed buy much of S&W old tooling. Then sometime during the 90's (?) I believe, Taurus bought Rossi. They're both Brazilian, and currently continue to cross-label products. Gun will be made by Rossi but stamped Taurus & vice versa. Someone smarter than me can help with better details.

But your little shooter has S&W K-Frame written all over it. I would shop for a holster that's made for the S&W version of your gun, and your wheelie will fit perfectly. Don't have a clue where you might find a speedloader. My first look would be at the SKS website.

This M515 is too small to fit the same holster that fits my 4" K-frame S&W. It looks to be somewhere between a J and K-frame size to me. I looked at HKS's website but didn't see this model Rossi listed among their offerings.

I was thinking the cylinder would be the hardest part to fit-up with a holster. Is the whole gun a tinier version of the usual 4" K frame?

And yes sorry..HKS. I have a bunch of their speedloaders in my safe but I never use them. I even have one that fits my 5 shot Taurus 41 magnum.
I have no idea where I got them. I've never bought a speedloader. But it appears that if HKS doesn't make a version probably no-one does. They seem to be the default.
