So I stumbled into a deal on a revolver today. I don’t really know what I’ve got here. An older gentleman at the gun store I bought it at (I bought the gun from an individual not the store) told me it these guns were made with smith and Wesson tooling in Brazil? I know it’s made in Brazil but I don’t know about the smith and Wesson part. He had one just like it on his person except it was a smith and his barrel was just a bit shorter than mine. Are these true copies that smith and Wesson holsters will work for this gun? I’m looking maybe a pocket holster and an open carry pancake style holster as well. I do not see any markings that give me any clue as to what model this gun is. Someone help me out here. What do I have, what holsters will work with this gun?50F0C7D2-4E56-4E76-9D3E-8C23F6976DE2.jpeg

S&W J frame size should work.

I was intrigued. Found this....

????

Doesn't help with the holster, but if you can ID the gun, finding a holster would be a whole lot easier. M33?

That looks like the same gun I have. I was guessing this was made in the 70s.

Taurus used smith tooling when they were sister companies with smith and wesson. Amadeo rossi I believe is seperate
This gun has “Amadeo Rossi S.A.” And then under that it “Sao Leopoldo R.S.”

The only other marking are Rossie emblem, “made in Brazil, interarms, Alexandria VA” and the serial number

I’ve had two M68s, direct copies of S&W. Just find the original smith model and you should be GTG.
Btw, both of them were POA/POI guns for me.

A leather holster will be more forgiving of any minor variations. Kydex not so much.
