RPS October 14, 2017 USPSA match

6 bays / 6 stages
6 squads of 14 shooters / 84 total shooters

*** Setup crew will be allowed to register and pick a squad before registration opens ***

Registration:

Registration will open Sunday, October 8th at 8pm EST.

Setup:

We'll be doing some setup on Friday afternoon and the rest of it on Saturday morning.

Classifier will be:

99-10

Details below:

Now for the good part…how to get a spot in the match. Three options:

1 – Win one of 45 slots in the lottery on Sunday night.

2 – Commit to designing/supervising a stage setup or volunteer to help setup the stage starting at 3:00pm Friday before the match or 8:30am Saturday, day of the match. One designer and two builders will be guaranteed slots in the match. If you would like to take ownership of a stage and would like a design provided for you, that works as well, just let us know. (15 slots reserved for setup crew)

Note: All others are welcome to come early and help setup. The more setup folks we have, the earlier the match will start.

3 – Rowan County Wildlife Association Members (RCWA) are guaranteed a slot in the match. (Sometimes this will make it appear you have made it into the match, but actually you are waitlisted, due to RCWA members getting approved before you.)
Note: RCWA membership will close on September 1, 2017. After that date, membership requests will be placed on a waitlist.

Contact us here on the forum or on the RPS facebook page. You can do that in advance of registration and guarantee your slot regardless of the Sunday night lottery. First come, first served.

Note: If you do not get approved to squad right away, do not panic, it may be several hours before you are approved. Rowan members and setup crew will be approved before lottery entries. You’ll get an automated email from Practiscore when you are approved to squad.
Also, if you're one of the last people to get approved to squad, there may not be any spaces available to squad. Do not worry, we approve a few extras to fill in "no shows" on Saturday morning. If you've been approved, we will get you in to shoot, even if unable to squad.

damn you flag football

A couple set up spots still open. If you want to shoot for free and not have to hope you get in when registration opens, volunteer. Less then 2 hours of setup on Saturday morning and an hour or so after the match. PM me if interested.

I'd be on it if I didn't have family coming in that weekend.

Shoot like 3 or 4 weekends a month and they just happen to land on one, SMH.

5 DQs, thats sounds higher than normal
3 on my squad. On was a 180 break on a reload, one a gun caught the wall, broke 180. The other was 180 break while coming backwards and transition to the left.

And each one was on different stages

There were stages were there right to left movement was the way to run the stage. That sets you up for some DQs moving and reloading.
