I finally put my RRS speed loader to extended use a few days ago. It works fine. That's not the reason for this post.

The pusher (or whatever it's called) doesn't stay with the table very well when I'm trying to store or move it around. It gets aggravating. I decided to attach it to the plate, but how? MAGAnets. That's how.

I thought about a tether or a hook to hang it on, but I didn't want to have anything sticking out of the plate, to be bent or broken off when moving it around. I also didn't want a string or chain attached to the pusher while I was trying to use it. So, magnets it is.

I already had the magnets from another project. I just drilled the holes a tick smaller than the 1/8" bit provided, so I could tap them in and be sure they are snug. The magnets are plenty strong enough to hold this light weight pusher in place when moving the speed loader from point A to point 7. Yeah, I can bop the plate on the floor longways and the pusher comes out, but my wants were for it to be there when I grab the loader and move it to the bench.

I do like the magnet idea for the pusher though! Every time I move mine around in the closet, it falls off the board!!!

    Sorry, impossible! :D

I mean I would never admit it to @kcult but that was a purty good idea. I ordered some bigger magnets for mine so I can bang mine on the floor and keep it in place.

    Thanks, I think.

If I didn't already have these magnets, I would have opted for larger ones. These work, and I can add more, if I decide to.

See what happens when you visit me? You get smarter and start having good ideas. You need to come over more! Hanging around in Chesterfield County will make you an idiot. When I finally moved out, I was so stupid I had to ask directions out of town. It worked out, her lawyer pointed me in the right direction.
