So you prefer to not suppress 5.56/.223?I just don't see that much utility in suppressing lightweight supersonic calibers. This reminds me of suppressing 5.56/.223. Sure you can make subs but you have removed the vast majority of its effectiveness, unlike with 9mm or 300blk for example. Otherwise it will never be quiet, only quiet-er and you'll probably still need hearing protection.
I’d much rather shoot 138-143dB than 160+.
Forget subs. A set of comfy plugs is way better than plugs and low-profile muffs...or one big pair of industrial muffs.
I suppress almost everything, including my two 5.7 hosts. I haven’t gone down the shotgun silencer path, although I’m considering it for my .410 firearm. I also don’t own anything that will suppress my Beowulfs. Everything else has a can, other than revolvers.
