Anyone have experience shooting the new Ruger LCP II 380? I've owned small lightweight pocket pistols before but have not handled the LCP II. What's your opinion of the Ruger?

For what it is, my deep concealment and back up gun, I like it. It's the one gun I have with me 80% of the time. It's the gun I'd rather have on me than not have anything at all. It sucks to shoot though. šŸ˜†

I bought one a few months ago because I wanted something very small that was easy to carry. It is. I love the little sucker. It shoots low for me, but puts all hits in a 10 ring at 7 yards, so thats all I wanted out of it. I wont be winning any target competitions with it, but I like it.

The little pocket holster it comes with is actually pretty nice. Ive been using it to carry and its worked fine. I like the way the gun just vanishes in my pocket. The only downside to pocket carry as opposed to IWB is that I lose use of a front pocket.

As Mr. Robot mentioned, just keep a dusting of lube on it to protect it from rust and you will be fine. But for $350 or so, its darn hard to beat.

I have the original .380 LCP; upgraded with the 'Elsie Pea' trigger that became a factory option later.
It is unbeatable for small and lightweight pocket carry - hand size is an issue with the tiny grip so try before you buy.

I can shoot it pretty well out to 50 ft but it is really a close range last resort option.

But if you have it in your summer cargo shorts pocket since you left the 1911 or even P365/G26 at home it will be the best gun imaginable . . .

Just buy one. If you don't like it you'll be able to offload it really quickly.

I love mine. It hits a paper plate at 10 yards easily, and I can carry it hidden in my boxers if i want.
