Shot a variety of 22lr in the LCPII today with mixed results. Bear in mind I only shot one mag (10 rds) of each brand and the following brands had ejection or feed probs:
Winchester Super X, Remington HP, and Blazers.

The following performed without fail: Stinger, CCI Mini, Federal bulk box.

The surprise was that it did well with the Fed Bulk, but not Blazers which has been my "go to" brand for my old Walthers 22. Had expected better from the Win SuperX as well. I'm thinking that when the spring takes a set it might do better with that first batch.

Not a very comprehensive test I know, but thought I'd throw it out for what its worth.

EDITED 6/2/21...went back later and run several mags of SuperX and they fed and fired good. I need to try the Blazers again....have to believe they will work well too. Have to admit I've been carrying it quite a bit with Stingers as its so light.

My LCPII 22LR had feeding issues with all ammo brands using new, full mags. But usually if the mag was at 9 or 8 rounds it worked fine. Especially the first time I used a mag. After breaking in the mags, it seemed to work fine no matter how full they were. Still disappointing though.

Been thinking about buying this one but every time I see a good review, I find a bad review. I can't make up my mind.
Buy your own and review it for yourself. It’s the only way to really find out if it’s for you. Reviews are sometimes helpful but rarely so. Remember that you are connected to an online community of middle aged men with expendable income that would take it off your hands if you don’t like it.

200-300 round break-in period, and then it runs like a cat shot in the ass with a BB gun.....

It loves Stingers and Velocitors, and I don’t have any issues with Federal Match 40gr.

It still doesn’t like 333 or Super X ammo. Haven’t run any Golden Bullet ammo through it yet....

When I carry it, I carry Velocitors in it. Fully loaded, 10+1 and a 10 round spare mag together is super lightweight and disappears in a sticky holster for pocket carry....

I've been meaning to get a .22 pocket pistol or snub nose so I can cheaply practice shooting with a short sight radius. Seems like a great training tool

good info, thanks!

The thing I don't like about it for carry is that it doesn't have an extractor, just an ejector. So you can't clear a malfunction just by racking the slide. If you drop the mag first racking usually works though.

I agree that once you break the gun + mags in, it's good to go. At least mine is, outside of the inherent unreliableness of 22LR. But if you buy extra mags, make sure to take an extended range trip to break those in too.
