Does anyone have any first hand experience with this model? The good, the bad, the ugly, let's hear it. It seems to be priced right. I just don't know anything about these. Talkin' about the E version.

i think its one of the better values out there. same as other sr series - ive had no problems running anything through any of mine (and i have the e, sr9c and sr9 models). i like the feel , and the missing chamber indicator to snag on clothes (although its not my first choice for carry cause of size)

i dont think you will be disappointed with one.

Just an uglier cheaper version of the SR9. I would probably roll with an SD9VE and an Apex Kit if I was looking sub $300. Much more Glock-like.

Full Disclosure - I owned an SR40 and was a fan. Very accurate, just stupid with all the safety BS Ruger endowed with it.

I couldn't help it. New in box and priced cheap. The price is the only reason I got it. Looks like I've got a new truck gun. I'll knock the new off it tomorrow.

I actually like the SR9E over the std SR9. It's a bit simpler and has a Spartan, utilitarian aesthetic.

Get it! I put a dab of orange nail polish on the front sight and blacked out the rear dots. The thing shoots like a dream. Not a gun you'd show off to your friends but a good and functional weapon.

The trigger on this one is awful and I'm comparing it to a Glock trigger. I dry fired it a little when I brought it home and it was bad, a LOT of over travel. I removed the magazine safety and it seemed to help the pull a little. That said, it will not be used as a target gun and I was able to shoot it well today. That's all that matters to me.
