Rum & Soda Review #14: Doorly’s XO Rum & Reed’s Real Ginger Ale!



Bottom Line: Rum: Very light alcohol on the nose & not much else. Oak and sweetness up front. Improves over ice. Soda: Ginger & citrus on the nose. Ginger up front followed by lime. Very lightly sweet. Rum: 3 Thumbs up. Soda: 1 Neutral thumb. Combo: 4 Thumbs down!

My mother in law is from Barbados, so naturally Doorly’s is pretty common in our house as well as Cockspur and Mount Gay Rums

I've tried Doorley's and found it to go down dangerously easy.
