I picked this up at a pawn shop and gave sorted out it is most likely Russian production gen 2. That more or less means it has no IR filter and uses 2 modern batteries as opposed to the older Russian 2.5v batteries.

I'm looking to find a replacement bulb but could also use any advice anyone has about these. Currently the reticle does not glow even after replacing the batteries hence the presumption about needing a new bulb.

I will post pics tomorrow when I get the chance.

You can buy the bulbs on ebay or from Kalinka optics. Most people put a battery adapter on them or mine uses a 3volt n size battery if my memory is correct. Anyway what ever you need is on ebay.

No need for anything now except maybe a buyer..hah.

If it were for x39 I could put it on the romy wasr by another name just for fun. I doubt I will ever have a psl or similar rifle.
