Saddle hunting

Do any members use a tree saddle? I’m looking into it, and have some questions. This has not been my year for bow hunting, just some dumb luck, so I’m already thinking to next year and planning ahead.
Truth be told I have watched a ton of YouTube videos but I would like to play with one in person.

I have saddle hunted rifle. Better find you a comfortable harness to sit in.

Long time ago when I was still in good enough shape to Don tree climbing hooks, I’d carry a lock on stand to a new spot, go up and hang the stand wearing hooks. Never had a stand stolen because there were no climbing sticks or screw in steps.

That being said, climbing spikes are hell on trees

I've got an X stand climber. It was a close as I could get to a saddle, bein' old and lackin' talent.
