"Same Day" hog bait

Walking around the hunting lease recently I same across some fresh Hog sign. I know at least 1 Hog was taken off the property during deer season, so they are there but seem to be transient.

I can't get to the property daily to maintain any kind of feeder so I'm looking for a magic trick for same day service.

What can I spread around that will attract hogs the same day it's laid? Is there such a thing?

There's a bloke in Harnett that uses a 55 gal drum, three cinder blocks, and... a bunch of stale donuts.
Loads the drum, flips it upside down on the blocks, monster corn/donut feeder.

Buy a couple box of strawberry jello and sprinkle it around where you’re thinking of setting up. They love that stuff and with it worked down in the dirt they’ll spend extra time rooting for the last bit.

If they are transient then I know of nothing short of "right time right place" that will attract them.
My vote would be for a large timer operated feeder with a solar charger. The self feeders will just get emptied out the first night.

My first thought would be left over grease. It's smelly and tasty to the hogs. Probably wouldn't take a gallon to sprinkle around your blind.

Don't forget to do this when there's a sale on insulin and elastic waist fat pants. You're gonna need both lol

You can't get around there daily, but how often can you get to it? If you can get by there within a couple days from an initial visit, maybe consider trapping. There stands a chance the hog will be there when you show up vs trying to get it to show up once you decide to visit.

Sweet feed or soak some corn in water and let it ferment. From what I gather hogs travel a lot so hopefully they are long gone. Unless you have a serious problem I would worry the bait would actually draw them to your property.
