SAR P8S/CZ 75 Compact X?

SAR P8S from Turkish gunmaker Sarsilmaz. Anybody heard if it? I hadn't before a couple of days ago. Kind of an impulse buy, if you can call an Armslist purchase an impulse buy. I wouldn't really call it a CZ clone, maybe CZ inspired. Same slide and barrel length as a compact 75 but the grip size of a full size. CZ mags will fit but will not drop free but the grips from my CZs will not fit it. Really close but they're a little too narrow. Gun seems to be well built and fit and finish are good. Pretty good features for a budget gun; ported barrel and slide, target crowned barrel, adjustable rear sights. Haven't shot it yet so I'm eager to see how that goes. I usually don't buy a gun knowing almost nothing about it so time will tell if I've wasted my money.

I've heard almost entirely good things about the turkish clones.

I wish there were more options for decocker only guns.

Steel. Yeah I wish this one was a decocker instead of safety. On the plus side it can be carried cocked and locked.

I have a SAR K2 45 and really like it. I would not hesitate to buy one like pictured!

I have two Sar's, a K2P and a K2-45. Both are a good value and very reliable.
